A 3-Month Deep Immersion into Tanzania and our 5 Fundamentals.
Created for gap year students, this is the full Odyssey experience — a life-changing three months of exploration and self-discovery. From epic adventures and hands-on conservation to cultural immersion and personal development, you’ll push boundaries, discover strengths you didn’t know you had, and return home with new skills, fresh confidence, and unforgettable memories.
A day at odyssey:
At Odyssey, no two days are the same — one day you might be diving in Lake Tanganyika or on safari in Katavi, the next working on a project that challenges your skills. If you’re on campus we kick things off with an energising workout, followed by a hearty breakfast before diving into morning activities: maybe a diving/snorkelling trip, a welding session in the workshop, or time at our village learning centre teaching. Afternoons bring more adventures — kayaking to nearby islands, hands-on projects, or skill-building sessions tailored to your interests. Each day is designed to keep you engaged, learning, and leaving with a sense of accomplishment. And when the sun sets, it’s all about campfire drinks on the beach and a great meal to round off an unforgettable day.

KATAVI SAFARI
What a blast we had in Katavi this year! Amazing leopard sightings, wild bush fires, beers around the campfire… it’s hard to put into words the experience we had, so take a look at our video!
LAKE TANGANYIKA KAYAK TRIP
This was a test of mental strength - 3 big days of kayaking but we rose to the occasion and enjoyed every second of the challenge. Take a look at lake Tanganyika’s raw beauty in this video
